ADA 35th anniversary

Today, Crip Video Productions celebrates the anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)! And as we continue to celebrate Disability Pride Month, we're reminded of the incredible impact of this landmark legislation. Many of the talented actors who work with Crip Video Productions, including our founder, live with Cerebral Palsy. The ADA is crucial, allowing us to be fully accommodated on set and in daily life. In many ways, Crip Video Productions would not exist without the ADA's freedoms and protections. Today, we honor the activists who tirelessly fought for its passage, like the late Neil Jacobson and Judy Heumann, and those who continue to inspire us, such as Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, who famously participated in the "Capital Crawl." We are so grateful for their courage and dedication! This video highlights the dangers of misunderstanding and lack of accommodations for epilepsy.
